I am an affable person who enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life. I truly believe that a positive approach to any situation will ease the situation. Problem solving is my strength and I prefer to be proactive to ensure smooth operations. This also brings out the creative side of my personality and be innovative in my approach. I started my career in the Accounts and Administration Dept BPL after I graduated From Mount Carmel Bangalore. My work involved liaising with distributors and vendors. Two years later moved to Singapore and gained experience in logistics, overseas shipment and liaising with shipping companies. Post this decided to shift focus in raising my two boys. This phase has been my sharpest learning curve as I experienced and understood the psychology from toddlers to teenagers to adulthood. As I went through these stages, especially understanding strengths of my sons and helping them choose the right course of study directing them to a career path best suited for them I realized that this is also where my strength lies. This was validated by the numerous requests for suggestions, ideas, and advice regarding best course of study/career that many peers sought from me. With my boys being independent , I have decided to hone my skills and equip myself with the skills required to pursue career counselling as a profession.
